Meet the Team

Together as a team we align our values, vision, and devotion to offer the highest level of service and care under the ancestral wings of the Shipibo tradition.

Maestro Nelson

Nelson enthusiastically travels to Sacred Valley to work with us and share his gifts of curanderismo. He lives in a region of the Amazon rainforest two hours south of Pucallpa. Nelson began training as a Shipibo doctor at the age of 15 years old under the tutelage of his grandfather who is very well known and respected Shipibo Onaya (healer).

He looks after his patients as if they are his own family, bestowing his wisdom of Amazonian plant medicine from a place genuine love and care. With many years experience healing Westerners and foreigners through established centers in Peru and Costa Rica, he continues to dedicate himself to the limitless world of plant dietas to further his learning as a doctor. His favorite plants are bobinsana, piñon colorado, ajo sacha, and niwe rao which are often called into his icaros or healing songs.

Nelson respectfully guides each ceremony with integrity, strength, sincerity, and deep appreciation for every person in our maloka. His Shipibo name “Isa Sina” translates to “protector” or “one who takes care of others.” With such a powerful name given to him at birth, he was always destined to be a master healer.

  • Privacy and Support

With a small group atmosphere of 10 guests or less per retreat, we initiate a stable, private, and loving container for the deepest healing potential. One to one facilitation is available throughout your journey with ayahuasca. Following every retreat, we include one to one integration support.

  • Trust and Connection

Trust is the first brick in the foundation of building relationships, and we honor this process by including preparation support for every guest. Establishing trust and connection opens the doorway for ayahuasca to work its magic in extraordinary ways, and we invite this magic in from the beginning of every correspondence.

We look forward to meeting you.
