Transformational Ayahuasca Retreats Bridging the Shamanic Lineage of Shipibo Curanderismo with Eastern Practices and Healing Modalities

Intertwining Medicines offers a variety of trauma-sensitive ayahuasca retreats combining the Amazonian healing rites of the indigenous Shipibo tradition with grounding practices such as mindfulness meditation and restorative yoga.

With a focus on a small group setting of 5-10 guests per retreat, we create a safe, intimate container to foster a very personal and deeply healing journey for all. Every guest receives one to one guidance, professional facilitation, and consultations led by our highly experienced team.

Included in our programs are private online preparation sessions before each retreat, ongoing integration support, medicinal plant treatments, supportive activities throughout your stay, and much more.

Our retreat schedule includes options for beginners and non beginners in addition to specialty retreats such as women’s ayahuasca retreats, men’s ayahuasca retreats, and Shipibo plant dietas.

Our next available bookings are our Women’s Ayahuasca Retreat from August 24th-31st and our Men’s Ayahuasca Retreat from September 14th-21st in Sacred Valley, Peru. View our full list of retreat dates and location options below.

Our Ceremonial Maloka For Ayahuasca Ceremonies

The Sacred Valley of Cusco, Peru is our primary location.

Following every Andean retreat we offer an optional private tour to sacred sites such as the impressive ruins of Ollantaytambo and Pisac Temple, and we finish with a day trip to the spectacular citadel of Machu Picchu.

“This experience has left a lasting imprint on my heart. I wholeheartedly recommend Intertwining Medicines to anyone feeling called to this path of deep healing and connection.”

Trauma-Sensitive Care With Our Devoted Team

We are a small and dedicated team bringing together our passions, knowledge, gifts, and medicines into one collective healing space. Every team member has roots around the world thus bringing a different set of skills, language, and flavor to co-create a unique and intimate ayahuasca immersion in the mountains and jungles of Peru.

Our Western staff members are sincerely committed to the path of ayahuasca, and are long term apprentices of ayahuasca curanderismo in the Shipibo tradition. Each member of our team has more than 15 years of personal ayahuasca healing. Collectively our team shares nearly 50 years of ayahuasca experience.
